A nationally and internationally certified Personal Trainer and graduate of the Australian Institute of Fitness, currently certified through Can-Fit-Pro and the American Council on Exercise. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, has spent the past 10 years working within various walks of the fitness industry. Formerly a manager at Fitness Source Canada, established Me First Fitness in the spring of 2007. With a strong sporting background, likes to incorporate and utilize many different training methods to achieve optimal results from clients, helping them reach all of their health and fitness goals while making each and every workout session enjoyable and unique.

About Amanda

With an education in kinesiology and nutrition, Amanda has had the opportunity to be involved in the fitness world from a young age. A varsity athlete at the University of Prince Edward Island, she has also been involved in sports and training at the provincial and national levels for 12 years. Previously employed at GoodLife Fitness (2009-2011) as a personal trainer, Amanda gained a greater understanding and appreciation of healthy living and how to create programs and goals to achieve optimal personal fitness. She is thrilled to be able to share her expertise with her clients. Amanda lives by a strong belief that anyone can achieve their desired fitness goals, and she enjoys having the ability to be a catalyst in these accomplishments.

Katie has been actively involved in the fitness industry since 2003. Katie has an Honours Degree in Kinesiology, as well as maintains many certifications within the Fitness and Health Industry. Being a competitive figure skater for 20 years Katie knows what it takes to train like a pro. Katie has trained athletes of all sports and levels, general and older populations. Katie has experience working special populations such as pre/post rehabilitative clients, pre/post natal women, special needs clients, clients with debilitating injuries, and clients suffering with painful diseases such as cancer, fibromyalgia, MS, and arthritis. Katie also trains police officers, fire fighters, and fitness models. Whatever your goals, Katie can help you realize your full potential and make all your fitness dreams come true!

A CSEP-CPT certified personal trainer with a Fitness and Health Promotions Diploma, Shannon has always been very passionate about health and fitness. Previously working at GoodLife Fitness Ajax, as a personal trainer Shannon found a love for helping her clients achieve their ultimate health and fitness goals in a timely and efficient manner. To achieve her own personal goals, she likes to incorporate many different types of training methods in to her regime, but her passion has been and always will be strength training. Whether it’s dumbbells, barbells or machines, Shannon knows how to sculpt firm, tight, toned and defined bodies that look great and function even better!
